Prowler arrested after returning to Strawberry home of elderly victim, cops say
A Santa Rosa man was arrested in Strawberry Jan. 17 after he was allegedly seen prowling near the home of an elderly woman he’s suspected of robbing and exposing himself to the month before. Karl Vincent D’Angelo, 52, has been charged with felony residential burglary and aggravated trespass and prowling, both misdemeanors; a plea hearing is set for today, Jan. 29, in Marin County Superior Court. D’Angelo’s bail was set at $1 million, and he remained in custody as of The Ark’s press deadline. In the December incident, a woman told deputies she woke up when an unfamiliar man came into her bedroom and laid down next to her in bed. She reported he had been “completely naked” and didn’t say anything to her before he fled out the front door.
