Tiburon block party, costumed dog parade: Tiburon will celebrate America’s 250th birthday with the Independence on Main Street block party 4-8 p.m. July 4. Up first is the costumed “pooch parade” down Tiburon Boulevard from Beach Road — advance registration is required to show off your pup. The parade leads to the party on lower Ark Row, with live music, kids’ activities and food from local restaurants. You can then stake out your spot in Shoreline Park for fireworks — three shows may be visible, including Sausalito, the San Francisco waterfront and a special show for the 250th from the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge. The event is free. arkn.ws/pooch26.
