An architect with more than 25 years of experience is the newest member of the Belvedere Planning Commission, while a public-affairs consultant with a passion for sports has been named to the board that oversees Tiburon and Belvedere’s joint recreation agency.
Â
The City Council unanimously appointed Ghazaleh Jamei to the commission and Brian Chase to The Ranch’s board of directors at its May 12 meeting.
Â
Jamei will replace Ashley Johnson, who is moving to the East Coast, and will serve the remainder of Johnson’s term through June 30, 2026. She would then be eligible for appointment to a full four-year term on the five-member board.
Â
Chase will replace Jeff Aguero, who is moving to Connecticut, as one of three Belvedere representatives on the nine-member Ranch board and will serve out the remainder of Aguero’s term, which ends May 31, 2028.
