An Old Landing Road home in Tiburon with direct access to the bay is on the market for $17.5 million.

The five-bedroom, 4½-bathroom house at 36 Old Landing Road is a single-story modern estate that offers privacy while sitting steps away from a private beach, says listing agent Stephanie Lamarre of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty in Greenbrae.

“I’ve been in the industry for 18 years, and I’ve never seen anything like it — at any price,” Lamarre says of the home, which was listed Sept. 10.

The home — nicknamed “La Casa Dei Quattro Orizzonti,” Italian for “the house of four horizons” — sits on San Francisco Bay near Paradise Cay, looking toward the East Bay. Built in 2006, it has 6,721 square feet of living space on a 5.34-acre lot.
