Knit House on Main announces it will close

The Knit House on Main will be closing its doors, with its owner saying on social media the store has lost its lease.

Tiburon resident Julie Stanton announced the closure of her 32 Main St. shop on May 8 in an Instagram post. The store opened in February 2019 and offers beginner classes, private lessons, drop-in assistance and weekly knitting events in addition to selling knitting supplies.

Knit House is the second tenant of Sonoma-based A&C Ventures, which does business in Tiburon as ACV Argo Tiburon LP, that has announced in the last month it’s closing shop due to lease-related issues.
