Michael Smith, 78, passed away on January 4, 2016. A long-time resident of Belvedere, Michael was previously the director of the investment advising firm The Belvedere Group, which was located on Main Street in Tiburon for many years. He enjoyed sailing and spending time with his family, friends, and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Janet Smith, and his daughters, Virginia Sturm and Claire Smith. A private gathering to celebrate his life has been held.
