Strawberry resident's love of letter-writing fosters connection and creativity

Snail mail may seem virtually nonexistent these days — but Yleanna Brown is trying to change that. The Strawberry resident is the founder of the Marin Correspondence Society, a club dedicated to handcrafted cardmaking and handwritten communication. Participants have also used a meeting to make cards containing uplifting messages for cancer patients at Marin General Hospital and are planning a meeting to create more for Marin County firefighters.
