Bel Aire Elementary students head off to Neverland for ‘Peter Pan Jr.’

Bel Aire Elementary School students will take audiences on an action-packed trip to Neverland in the school’s upcoming production of “Peter Pan Jr.” Nearly 200 students across two casts — the London cast and the Neverland cast — will perform the musical at 6:30 p.m. March 11-14 and 2:30 p.m. March 14-15 at the school, 277 Karen Way, Tiburon. The show has been adapted for younger performers from the 1954 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, which itself is based on J.M. Barrie’s play, written in 1904, and his later novelization of that work in 1911. (Frank Fennema photo / For The Ark)
