A coup in the park

Hundreds attend the performance of ‘Julius Caesar’ by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival at Zelinsky Park behind Tiburon Town Hall on April 4. Hosted by the Belvedere-Tiburon Library, the abbreviated, hourlong production follows the conspiracy to assassinate Rome’s most powerful general, the oratory and aftermath that unravel the conspirators’ plans and the civil war that follows. Tiburon was sixth of the festival’s 14 stops for ‘Caesar,’ which finishes May 3 at San Bruno City Park. (Leo Leung / For The Ark)
