After months of negotiations, the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society and neighboring residents reached a compromise on how many amplified-music events can be held at the Art & Garden Center, ending uncertainty that had prevented the nonprofit from booking any weddings in 2026.

The agreement limits Landmarks to 16 total events annually between March and November — 14 of them with amplified noise. The remaining two can have unamplified instrumental music for a maximum of 60 guests. Maximum noise from amplified events is limited to 60 decibels at the property line, with amplified music ending at 8:30 p.m., guests off-site by 9 p.m. and vendors and Landmarks staff off no later than 10 p.m.
